Hi, I’m Shannon

I’m your Inclusive Design Partner based in Melbourne, Australia

I’ve spent more than a decade working across design, UX, and strategy, helping teams create websites and brands that are inclusive, effective, and enjoyable to use. I care about the details that make design feel easy, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming for all.

A little more about me

My interest in accessibility began early in my career while working on interactive museum installations with a creative agency called Sandpit. That work was exciting, but it also opened my eyes to how much better we could do. Since then, I’ve focused on making digital spaces that include more people and remove the barriers that shouldn’t be there in the first place.

I’ve worked across many industries, including health, education, and community. My experience includes work with organisations like HCF, Women’s Health Victoria, and several non-profits on projects that handle sensitive and meaningful topics with care.

Accessibility also feels personal. People close to me live with disabilities, from neurodiversity to low vision. My late grandfather was a paraplegic, and I often think about how much he could have benefited from the technology we have today, and how design can give people more freedom and independence.

With a background in branding, animation, and typography, I create designs that are distinctive, effective, and beautiful without leaving anyone out.

Wherever good design is needed

My work stretches from corporate projects to arts, culture, and community. Many of these involve sensitive topics, handled with care and respect to make sure the design feels safe, human, and kind.
